Where The Vision Began

The vision for The Davis Community Life Center was inspired by the legacy of Louis S. Davis, Sr., a visionary leader dedicated to serving the Waxhaw community. It was his vision that the residents of Waxhaw have a place to go to connect, exercise, play, learn, and come together as a community. After his passing in 2013, it is his daughter, Sharron that has continued to move her father's vision forward.

Our amazing Executive Director, Sharron Debnam, is the daughter of our visionary, Louis S. Davis, whose passion for community and service continues to inspire our mission. Through innovative programs, educational initiatives, and community-driven events, we empower people of all ages to build meaningful relationships and access vital resources.
